The 2008 is Peugeot's subcompact SUV. The French carmaker's small SUV returns to the Philippine market with an all-new more upmarket design. It sheds the soft rounded design of its predecessor, in its place are sharper more aggressive look. It features a more vertical windshield and a longer more horizontal hood; this gives it a sportier profile. Up front it incorporates a large version of the carmaker's frameless grille which is flanked by aggressive headlights with distinct triple vertical LED DRLs. The bodyside creases give it a sophisticated look, while the prominent rear haunches give the rear a muscular feel. At the back, it gets Peugeot's trademark "claw effect" LED taillights. The exterior theme continues inside, the new 2008 features a sports-oriented cockpit with a digital instrument cluster and a tablet-style floating 7" touchscreen. 

The all-new Philippine-spec 2008 is powered by a 1.2-liter PureTech turbocharged inline-3 gasoline mill which produces 130hp and 230Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission.
