The Tivoli is SsangYong's entry into the hot sub-compact crossover category. It carries its own distinctive styling by combining a space efficient upright boxy greenhouse with a muscular body that features prominent front fenders and rear hips. For 2018, its front bumper fascia has been updated to give it a sportier appearance. Inside it carries a clean modern design with a dashboard that features twin large gauges and a symetrical center stack.
The XLV variant adds more versatility by having a longer cargo area thatnks to its wagon-style body.
Under the hood is SsangYong's own naturally aspirated 1.6-liter dual variable valve timing gasoline mill which produces an impressive 126hp and 160Nm of torque. The longer XLV variant comes with a 1.6-liter CRDi oil-burner that produces 113hp and 300Nm of torque. Both powerplants are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard.
