Like its GR86 sibling, Subaru's BRZ gets completely restyled for 2022. While the general silhouette and proportions are close to its predecessor, the new small Japanese coupe features a curvier more muscular body. It features front bumper ducts, functional fender air outlets, and side sill spoilers. At the rear, it has an integrated ducktail spoiler. Inside, the new BRZ's driver-oriented cockpit features a new more contemporary looking dashboard with a more horizontal layout and straighter lines. It also now comes with a digital instrument panel.
Powering the new BRZ is a larger more powerful naturally aspirated 2.4-liter boxer engine which produces 234hp and 250Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels either through a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic tranny. The new BRZ can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in only 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 216km/h.
