For 2022, the fifth generation Subaru Forester receives some design and tech updates. Up front it gets a larger and bolder grille flanked by new distinctly shaped headlights. New 18-inch alloy wheels complete the styling makeover.

When it comes to safety, all variants get seven airbags, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The Forester now features the updated EyeSight 4.0 Driver Assist Technology which includes Lane Centering Function, Lane Departure Prevention, and Autonomous Emergency Steering.

Under its hood is Subaru's familiar 2.0-liter horizontally-opposed 4-cylinder gasoline boxer engine which produces a 154hp and 196Nm of torque. As expected, Lineartronic CVT and Symmetrical AWD comes standard. 

GT Edition
New for 2023, the "GT Edition" comes with a new front lip, side skirts, a larger rear spoiler, a rear bumper extension, and GT-exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside it gets diamond-quilted designer leather seats.
