Now in its second generation, Subaru's XV compact crossover hatchback adopts the sportier and more mature styling of the all-new Impreza it's based on. Even with its new sharper looks, its profile is still unmistakably an XV. Inside it features a roomier interior with improved styling and upgraded materials. It now boasts of a 70% more rigid platform which improves NVH and handling. When it comes to safety it now features "ËyeSight" system which includes Pre-Collision Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Throttle management, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert. For 2021 it receives a facelift, the updated XV gets a restyled grille, bumper, foglamps, and new 18-inch alloys. Under the hood it continues to use Subaru's familiar 2.0-liter boxer engine which produces 154hp and 196Nm of torque. Like before, this powerplant is mated to a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission. It features front and rear bumper lip extensions, skirts, roof spoiler, GT Edition alloy wheels, and new leather seats.
