Now in its second generation, Subaru's XV compact crossover hatchback adopts the sportier and more mature styling of the all-new Impreza it's based on. Even with its new sharper looks, its profile is still unmistakably an XV. Inside it features a roomier interior with improved styling and upgraded materials. It now boasts of a 70% more rigid platform which improves NVH and handling. When it comes to safety it now features "ËyeSight" system which includes Pre-Collision Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Throttle management, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert. For 2021 it receives a facelift, the updated XV gets a restyled grille, bumper, foglamps, and new 18-inch alloys. Under the hood it continues to use Subaru's familiar 2.0-liter boxer engine which produces 154hp and 196Nm of torque. Like before, this powerplant is mated to a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission. Symmetrical AWD with X-Mode for improved performance on rough terrain comes as standard.GT EditonNew for the 2022 model year, the GT Edition adds some sportiness to the XV. It features front and rear bumper lip extensions, skirts, roof spoiler, GT Edition alloy wheels, and new leather seats.
