Top Gear Philippines

We're in the last quarter of the year, so your schedule is only going to get busier. The same goes for the automotive scene. This month, there are a whopping six car shows that you can join or attend. Mark these events and dates on your calendars:

Wheels and Heels

October 1

Metrotent, Pasig City

The event name sounds like an odd mix—it’s not advisable to drive in high heels, after all—but it promises to be a fun Sunday for car enthusiasts. The show is part of a men’s magazine’s annual showcase, so there will be sights to see aside from the rides. There will also be vape, tattoo, and sneaker exhibits within the tent.

Bicol’s Finest Rides 4

October 7

M City Naga Open Parking

Residents who live around the area of the famed Mayon Volcano can treat themselves to a car show that promises to be just as explosive. Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday night.

Lord of the Wheels Retro Style

October 8

Circuit Makati

If you love your classic rides, this is the place to be. It won’t be too peaceful, though, because there will be a live band and a drinking contest available for attendees. It has the makings of a fitting old-school rock song.

7th Calacatchara Car & Motor Show

October 21

Municipal Hall Compound, Calaca, Batangas

Calaca is known for its delicious atchara, and the Calacatchara festival celebrates the town’s famous delicacy. It also plays host to a car and motor show, so you get your gearhead and atchara fix under one venue.

UCCP Autofest III x Mitsufest PH

October 22

Philippine Arena

If you live up north, you can check out this event hosted by the United Car Clubs of the Philippines. It will hold both a car show for all brands, and the Mitsufest to showcase the very best of the three-diamond badge. Entry fee is P1,500 per ride.
