We admit we’re ambivalent about booth girls in motor shows. On one hand, they’re booth babes, and we’re men, so they're great. On the other hand, they sometimes get in the way of our car shots. And they have these followers whose only interaction with the opposite sex is with models who are paid to smile and be nice. And those “photographers” get in the way of our car shots.
But booth babes are a part of the motor show scene, and will likely stay that way for the foreseeable future. They also add cachet and glamor to a booth when they’re presented elegantly. And we’re happy that for the most part, the girls in this year’s PIMS are beautiful and classy.
In the end, whether you go to motor shows for the cars, the girls, or both, what’s important is you have fun. And that’s what these events are about.
