Last year, the Philippine automotive industry got pretty busy. As activities and events around the country continue to ramp up, we’re sure 2023 is going to be an even bigger one.
You see, we saw quite a handful of new models launched in the region over the past twelve months. We’re talking about trucks like the Ford Ranger Raptor, sedans like the Toyota Vios, and aspirational toys like the Honda Civic Type R. We’re guessing it’s only a matter of time before some of these hit the market—we reckon it’ll be at some point this year.

As such, we’ve come up with a list of some of the cars we’re looking forward to seeing on our roads this year. We have at least one entry for a lot of manufacturers this time around. Apart from the cars we mentioned previously, there are also the likes of the new GAC Empow and the Kia EV6—both of which were previewed at local motor shows in 2022—that are set to arrive soon.
Of course, we also have the all-new Toyota Innova on this list. You guys were buzzing when the next-generation MPV was finally unveiled. If anything, it might deserve a top spot here.
