Last week, the very artistic duo of Ryan and Randall Dagooc--more popularly known as Mango Red--sent us one photo of Drew Arellano and Iya Villania on board an old-school International Harvester Scout II sport-utility vehicle. If "Mango Red" sounds familiar to you, that's because they've made a name for themselves doing amazing prenuptial and wedding photo shoots for discriminating couples.
Drew and Iya got married on January 31st in Nasugbu, Batangas.
The image initially sent to us (first one below), according to Mango Red, was a "prenup photo we shot for Drew and Iya," featuring Randall's 1976 Scout II. If you're too young to recognize the vehicle, that's a full-size SUV produced in the '70s by an American company that specialized in agricultural machinery. The Scout II was assembled and sold from 1971 to 1980.
When we saw the name of the photo sender, we wrote back: "Hey, there. We're fans of your work. We'll make you an offer. How about instead of just posting this photo on our Facebook page, we'll make a full article on our website? Just provide us with more pictures."
Mango Red (or, to be more precise, Ryan) replied: "We're super fans of Top Gear Philippines. We check it every day!"
How can you not love a job that connects you to extremely talented individuals like Ryan and Randall? So let us officially kick off Valentine's Week with these breathtaking photographs of Drew, Iya and the Scout II. Enjoy!
