A single condo parking slot in the US is selling for a whopping P18.6-M

But hey, at least it’s heated

Prime parking spots in urban centers don’t come cheap. Remember: When it comes to real estate like this, you aren’t just paying for a place to store your vehicle—you’re shelling out dough for convenience and time, too.

In the UK, a parking slot in the city of Bath recently sold for a crazy £115,000 (P7.95 million)—proof that in some places, demand can be just downright absurd. If you thought that slot was pricey, though, you haven’t seen anything yet.

Over in the US, a single parking slot inside a condo in Boston on the city’s South End is up for sale for $375,000. That’s a whopping P18.6 million when you convert it to our currency—easily supercar money.

The listing, posted on Campion and Company, doesn’t reveal much, just the address, $375,000 price tag, and property type (condo). “A single parking space in the heated garage of 201 West Brookline Street,” it reads.

Oh, but it’s a heated parking garage, at least. So no need to freeze your butt off out in the open while you try and pull your keys out of your pocket. And apparently, the building is pretty old, as it was built in 1900.

We can’t help but wonder what kind of ride whoever ends up buying the space will park there. We reckon, though, that if he or she can afford the slot, it will probably be quite valuable. What’s the most you would ever pay for a place to park your vehicle? Let us know in the comments.
