Earlier this year, Car Porn Racing broke the aftermarket community’s heart with the news that it was closing its doors permanently come June. Well, it’s August now, and the company is working double-time to take care of unfinished business before the end of the month.
You see, anyone who runs a business will tell you that operations can’t just stop on a dime all of a sudden. Despite the company’s closure, Angie Mead King and Car Porn Racing still have clients to take care of, projects to finish, and the task of moving out of its current location to accomplish.
In her official YouTube channel, King shared that Car Porn Racing hopes to have all of its operations wrapped up by the end of August 2021. Watch:
“I am exhausted. The past month has been mostly about cleaning Car Porn, moving parts and equipment out of the shop and to different places, and working on our remaining car projects,” she said.
“There have been delays here and there, and I hope we can meet our deadline of moving everything out of the shop by the end of August.”
It still kind of hurts being reminded that Car Porn Racing is shutting down, but the last car rolling out of its garage looks like we’ll still be treated to some pretty neat build on King’s YouTube channel.
In the video above, she gives us another look at one of her Rauh-Welt Begriff Porsches and a carbon-clad McLaren. She also shares updates on a Honda S800 they’re busy bringing back to life.
Using the word ‘hectic’ to describe this footage kind of feels like an understatement. Think Car Porn Racing will be able to wrap up its business by the end of the month?
