2010 Porsche 911 Sport Classic

The Sport Classic is one of the most desirable 911s of modern times. When it was announced in 2010, all 250 build slots were sold in under 48 hours. The ducktail spoiler, Fuchs-style alloys and short-shift manual gearbox gave the car that beautiful retro feel.

2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss

My word. This SLR Stirling Moss is one of only 75 examples of a car designed as a modern homage to the 300 SLR that Stirling Moss guided to victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia. Expect big numbers to happen at the sale.

1957 Porsche 356 A 1600 Speedster

This 356 Speedster is in a beautifully restored condition. That red with gold badging works well doesn’t it?

So, if your numbers came up on the lotto this weekend, which cars would you be sticking your hand up for come auction time?

2018 Alfa Romeo Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001

Holy Mole. As you can see, this is no ordinary Alfa Romeo 4C. Last year a company named Up Design took a 40,000km 4C and plonked a truly stunning body on top of that famous carbon tub.

2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake

You may recognize this Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake from when we covered its listing a while back

1967 Ferrari 330 GTC Zagato

Oh lord we’re stuck in a Zagato hole again. This happened the other day too when we stumbled upon the madcap Ferrari 348 TB Zagato Elaborazione that’ll also be at Villa Erba. We need help. This 330 GTC is actually the only one in the world with a Zagato body after it was crashed way back in 1972 and the Pininfarina coachwork was binned.

1948 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport Coupé

This is an almost fully-original, late ’40s Alfa Romeo. Need we say any more?

Well, this car’s first owner was Dr. Antonio Mario Savino—the Argentinian Minister of Industry and Trade in 1949. Since then it has been immaculately restored and became a concours winner.

1959 Fiat-Abarth 750 GT 'Double Bubble' Zagato

We’re sorry if this picture made you weep. Abarth (the kings of wringing everything from a little Fiat engine) + Zagato (lightweight bodywork makers) = the ultimate sports car recipe.

1967 Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2

The 400 GT wouldn’t be everyone’s choice when looking for a classic Lambo, but this car just exudes style. It’s also only had two owners from new—the first of whom had the car for 50 years and put over 61,000km on the clock. Isn’t it nice to know a car has been properly loved?
