Koenigsegg is almost done building the Jesko. In fact, it already unveiled the pre-series production car just a while back, and we’re sure a lot of affluent car nuts are excited to get their hands on this revolutionary hypercar.
The Jesko packs a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that can produce up to 1,600hp, after all. What’s more, it’s expected to shatter the SSC Tuatara’s current speed record and go faster than Bugatti’s 300mph Chiron, as the Koenigsegg’s simulations suggest that the Jesko will go “way past” its 500kph (310mph) target.
Now, we could go on and on and on trying to talk about the Jesko’s groundbreaking nine-speed transmission or the whopping 1,000kg of downforce it produces when running at 275kph, but we’re leaving you to listen to Christian von Koenigsegg instead. What better way to learn about a car than from the mastermind himself?
In a recent video uploaded via Koenigsegg’s YouTube channel, CvK provides a full tour of the upcoming Jesko Attack. He discusses in detail all the important bits you can find on the Jesko, from the air intakes and boot up front to the massive rear wing out back.
As a bonus, Mr. Koenigsegg even shows us what it’s like to drive (or ride in) this unfinished Jesko. Spoiler alert: It’s rather wonderful, and it’s also gotten us stoked for the future reveal of the official production hypercar as well.
Anyhoo, you can watch the full clip below:
Reckon the Swedish marque will be able to beat both SSC’s and Bugatti’s records?
