Who needs to replace their Easytrip RFID sticker and card? Here’s the full guide

Do I have to replace my Easytrip RFID card and sticker?

If your Easytrip RFID card is still one of the old versions, you are encouraged to have the card and the RFID sticker replaced. The new Nealogy RFID sticker has a higher readability rate, meaning quicker pass-through times at toll booths.

What do the old Easytrip RFID cards look like?

It’s any one of the following:

Note that if you are having your card and sticker replaced, you need to bring the old card as well as the car on which the RFID sticker is attached to Easytrip’s One-Stop Shop or RFID station.

How much will it cost?

Easytrip says the replacement card and sticker are free, but as before, you need to pay the initial load. That costs P200 to P500.

How long will the replacement take?

You’ll be able to get the new sticker right away. The new card, however, won’t be available for three to five days if you have the replacement processed at an Easytrip RFID station. At Easytrip One-Stop Shops, you’ll be able to get it on the same day.

What if my old card still has load in it?

As with card replacement, transfer of balance to the new RFID card will take three to five days at Easytrip RFID stations. It can be processed on the same day at Easytrip One-Stop Shops.

Can I ask someone else to bring my car in for RFID sticker and card replacement?

Yes, you can authorize a representative to do that for you. He or she must bring the following:

  • Old RFID card
  • Car with old RFID sticker
  • Signed authorization letter of RFID owner
  • One valid ID of RFID owner
