"Overdrive," a song about driving on a road trip, might be one of his band's greatest hits, but it turns out Ely Buendia is actually a pretty big motorcycle fan. Yep, one quick browse through the former Eraserheads frontman's Instagram profile shows that the dude truly has an eye for bikes, and boy do we like his taste.
Some of the prominent two-wheelers fans will come across on his page include a Ducati Scrambler, an accessorized Harley Street 750, and a customized motorbike the singer has dubbed the Doomsday Raider (awesome name, by the way) courtesy of Fart Monkeez Garage.
More important, he doesn't seem too keen on letting the aforementioned rides gather dust in his garage, taking his bikes out on the road often enough. And of course, he wears a helmet. So to all the fans telling him to be careful in the comments, you can relax, the dude knows what he's doing.
"Gusto ko matutong mag-driiiive (kahit na wala akong kotse)". So would 'ride' have been more appropriate? Nah. The song resonates regardless of whether you're traveling on two wheels or four. We're curious though, does Ely appreciate cars as much as he does bikes? We hope so.
