Way to bring the feels along with the thrills

It’s normal to see iconic movie cars and real-life vehicles get recreated in the video game world, but we just came across a new one that tugs at the heartstrings more than usual.

Recognize it? Yep, that’s Brian O’Conner’s Toyota Supra from 2001’s The Fast and the Furious. The car has been revived in the popular racing sim Forza Horizon 4, and it’s nostalgia at its finest. Not only does it take us back to an era when the franchise valued cars more than it did action, but it also reminds us of the late Paul Walker.

Now, we’ve seen a lot of these in-game replicas on cyberspace already, but we find this new one particularly fun to watch because it’s not all about the aesthetics—this Supra is damn fast as well.

Here you’ll see the orange sports car burn some rubber drifting around town and eventually going flat out and hitting 372kph at some point during the drive. We reckon this can smoke a Ferrari in a quarter-mile, too. That 2JZ engine is no joke, after all.

Way to bring in the feels along with the thrills, wouldn’t you agree? Anyway, you can check out the full clip below. Enjoy.
