If there’s one thing German designers and engineers have taught us, it’s that an elegant sense of style and a rugged demeanor can go hand-in-hand. BMW’s offerings are a testament to this, and the all-new X5—which made its Philippine debut last night—only drives the point home further.
The fourth-generation X5 features the same proportions and style that made previous iterations such an attractive proposition to premium car buyers, albeit with a handful of noticeable improvements.
With bold character lines running along its hood and side profiles, it’s very easy to see this vehicle standing out on Philippine roads. The signature BMW kidney grille—flanked by large attractive LED headlights—is larger now, while components like the underguard, roof rails, and window surrounds now flaunt a more sophisticated look thanks to pearl-effect chrome bits.

The SUV’s fenders are clean, and mesh well with the vehicle’s sleek overall shape. Still, the X5 manages to convey an on-road presence that demands attention. Inside, there’s a clean dashboard design with modern A/C vents and a large seven-inch display that manages the company’s latest tech. There’s a Harmon Kardon sound setup, ambient lighting, and some nice brushed metal trim, too.
We’ve already mentioned the all-new X5’s price, so all that there’s left for potential customers to do is check out its gorgeous looks. Below are a few images from the SUV’s Philippine launch.
