Sunday’s British GP was quite an eventful one, from the first-lap collision between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen to Hamilton’s 50th-lap maneuver to take the lead from Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. Suffice to say, there was a lot of drama at the grid. And let’s not even get started on the online vitriol that followed.
The Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team recently shared photos of the four-time world champion picking up trash at the stands after the Grand Prix. Vettel may not have won this weekend—he was the only driver with a DNF other than Verstappen—but he surely has won a lot of people’s respect with this.
Fans have since shown their love for the German through the comments section and on social media for his commendable efforts. But as one person pointed out, nobody should have to be doing this in the first place, so let this be a reminder for all of you reading this: Let’s all please pick up after ourselves, folks.
