We previously wrote an article about how much the full tank of a typical subcompact sedan would cost. Seeing as fuel prices have gone even farther up since our last outing, we’ve decided to come up with yet another compilation, but this time featuring subcompact crossovers.
We’ve included here popular models like the MG ZS and the Geely Coolray as well as other newcomers like the all-new Honda HR-V and the Toyota Raize. Now, while we’re in an entirely different and somewhat bigger segment than before, worth noting here is that the fuel-tank capacities of these subcompact crossovers actually don’t differ much from that of the subcompact sedans.
Like last time, we took the prevailing fuel prices in Metro Manila as of May 12, 2022. These figures were lifted from this document published by the Department of Energy. We used the common prices of 91-octane (regular) gasoline from the list and got the rounded-off average. For the purposes of this article, we’re using P79.6 per liter.
