Solid. After a good week with the Avanza--Toyota's popular budget-friendly seven-seater MPV--we can't think of a more appropriate word with which to describe the car. We drove it both in the city, as well as on nearby provincial roads and highways at full capacity, and not once did it let us down.
Despite its humble looks, there's plenty inside the Avanza to allow it to stand out in its segment. It offers great space and headroom compared to other models in its price range. Toyota's equipped it with more configurable and convenient seats, letting you customize their arrangement depending on the number of passengers and amount of cargo.
At capacity, the car--with its 1.5-liter gasoline engine--proves to be a comfortable cruiser, too. If we're talking road trips to nearby areas, you could do a lot worse than choosing the Avanza. Want to learn more about this prevalent Toyota MPV? Just press play on the video above.
