You’ve probably run out of stuff to do at home by now. Your car has been detailed down to the last screw, you finally finished building those Lego sets that you haven’t touched since 2017, and you’re tired of bickering on social media. In other words, you need new things to kill time.
If you’ve got a printer and some extra paper lying around, you might want to check out Mazda’s paper-craft sheets. But hey, if you’re up for building paper models for kids anyway, why not take a trip down memory lane while doing so? We have here some blueprints for retro Toyota paper models with period-correct liveries.
We doubt they’ll be any harder to make than the Mazdas, but these old-school Toyota models can at least give you that sweet dose of nostalgia—a reminder of better days. The only things you’ll need are scissors and glue, as well as the aforementioned printer and paper.
You can choose among the different retro liveries: the Yatabe Speed Trial Toyota 2000GT, the Shelby Toyota 2000GT, Ove Adersson’s Toyota Celica 1600GT, the IMSA GTU Toyota Celica, the Castrol Toyota Celica GT-Four, and the Esso Ultron Tiger Toyota Supra. We’ve taken the liberty of putting in the download links for the templates here, so click away if you want copies.
We put the said templates below as well. You can check them out here, too, and tell us what you think in the comments.
