Video: Check out the Volvo FH truck\'s emergency brake system

When Volvo Trucks introduced its new FH line of heavy haulers last year, one of its main selling points was its collision warning with emergency brake system. The system reportedly consists of a radar and a camera that work together to identify and monitor the vehicles in front of the truck. Designed to deal with both stationary and moving vehicles, the system is supposedly capable of preventing a collision with a moving vehicle at speeds of up to 70kph.

Well, we recently came across a video that showed just how efficient the emergency brake system is. The lesson we learned from the video? Never, ever tailgate a Volvo FH truck.
