Texting and driving at the same time is a no-no, plain and simple. No matter how good you think you are at multitasking (and you probably aren't), you're still being distracted behind the wheel. To prove this point, Porsche took Australian professional driver and Le Mans racer Mark Webber and made one of the coolest public service announcement videos we've ever seen.

In the video, Mark is in the middle of a test run inside his Porsche 911 when someone begins texting him behind the wheel. The one-and-a-half-minute video shows the former Formula 1 driver making mistakes and losing control of the vehicle every time he receives a message, eventually causing him to spin out of control. Disappointed, he pulls over to check his phone and walks toward the pit to the disapproval of his team.

It ends with the words: "Even the best can't text and drive. That's why you shouldn't."

We couldn't have said it better.

So guys, keep your eyes on the road, your hands on the tiller and your phones in your pocket when you're driving. Because you're never as sharp behind the wheel as you think.
