For Father’s Day this year, we collaborated with the management of Bonifacio High Street and several of the most awesome car brands to make BGC the place to be for dads. At the event dubbed Wheels & Grills, fathers got to see and try out fun automobiles that made them feel like teenagers again. On one side, the mouth-watering scent of cooking meat wafted over from food trucks.
That weekend, fathers and sons bonded while looking at sleek Jaguars, macho Fords, athletic Land Rovers, hip Volkswagens, tough Mitsubishis, sturdy SsangYongs, hot Subarus, plush Chedengs and sexy Mazdas. There were also Kawasaki and Suzuki motorbikes for those who preferred the freedom of two wheels. In any case, a car show never feels out of place in Bonifacio High Street’s relaxed vibe.
We hope Wheels & Grills gets inspiration from Hollywood and produces many sequels. Judging by the reaction we saw during those days, we’re betting on seeing you again come Father’s Day in 2017.
