Unless you’ve been living under a rock the last few months, you’d be well aware that the all-new Toyota Vios has arrived in the Philippines. The reintroduction of the country’s bestselling subcompact sedan is a pretty big deal, after all.
It’s such a big deal, in fact, that Toyota Motor Philippines has gone above and beyond to promote its latest product. The carmaker has produced a commercial starring two of local showbiz’s biggest names: Anne Curtis and Gerald Anderson. Simply put, it’s not your average TVC that merely runs through the spec-sheet. Watch this:
Now let's talk about the vehicle. The all-new Vios features smart entry and push-button start for the driver’s convenience, and daytime running lights for improved visibility and safety. For a better driving experience, it has paddle shifters, vehicle stability control, and sport mode.
It also has plenty of room inside for passengers, but there’s no need to worry about their safety—the all-new Vios comes equipped with 7 SRS airbags.
Powering the all-new Vios is a choice of two dual VVT-i engines: a 1.5-liter with 106hp and 140Nm, and a 1.3-liter with 98hp and 123Nm. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual and a continuously variable transmission. With a starting price of P659,000, Toyota’s new sedan has something to offer every buyer.
