The Maserati GranTurismo drawing you see above was submitted to us by Brian Patrick Balin, apparently a mechanical engineering student at Don Bosco Technical College (assuming the data on his Facebook page are accurate). He may have gotten the idea (of submitting this drawing to us) from Azrel Balaque, whose own car drawings we had shared not only on our Facebook page but also on this website.
We shared Brian\'s GranTurismo drawing on our Facebook page, and he was blown away. So much so that he promptly sent us another car drawing (Mitsubishi Lancer box-type). \"Ang sarap ng feeling,\" he told us.
We didn\'t share the Lancer drawing; we felt once was enough, especially since we had featured Azrel\'s drawings a couple of times before him. When he noticed that two days had passed without us posting his second drawing on our wall, he sent us a third one (a motorcycle).
At this point, we simply wanted to tell him to stop creating and sending us car drawings since we didn\'t want him to waste his time and talent on nothing. But we wanted to do so subtly so as not to hurt his feelings. So we told him: \"Hi, Brian. These are nice drawings. Tell you what--we\'ll feature you in an article on our website if you can draw us three Italian classic cars: Ferrari 250 Berlinetta SWB (short wheelbase), Lamborghini Urraco and Maserati Bora.\"
We gave him the short list hoping it would discourage him. These are not-so-popular automobiles and may not appeal to a nominal car fan. Also, we were hoping that the relative obscurity of our car choices would require some time for research and familiarization, which meant we wouldn\'t get a new submission from Brian in a long while.
We were wrong. We hoped in futility. After just two days, he sent us all the three drawings below.
