If you haven’t noticed by now, Internet drift sensation and YouTube media star Ken Block has a thing for over-the-top liveries. We’ve seen it on his 1977 F-150 ‘Hoonitruck,’ his World Rally Championship Fiesta, his Escort, and, well, just about every other vehicle he’s had the pleasure of shredding tires in.
This one, found on his new SVC Ford F-150 Raptor, might be our favorite yet.
At first glance, the look is relatively subtle for a Block car: It’s mostly ‘Avalanche Gray’ (though frankly, it looks rather white), with some Hoonigan decals on the plain sides and stencils plastered all over the front and rear ends. Turn the lights off, though, and you’re in for a show.
What at first appeared to be uneventful stenciling is actually a black reflective repeat pattern. Essentially, this makes Block’s new ride near-impossible to miss at night.
The cool paint job is just the tip of the iceberg. This Raptor has been equipped with custom SVC bumpers up front and at the rear, runs on Turbomac HD wheels wrapped in Open Country Toyo Tires, and comes with light bars courtesy of Rigid Industries.
“Here’s my latest project build: a very FUN and jumpable Raptor!” Block said in his Instagram announcement. “I’ve partnered with @OfficialSVC on this new-to-me 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor project (in Avalanche Gray) and I’m stoked that I’m able to finally share it with you all.”
This baby will look right at home inside Block’s garage, no doubt about it. You can see more of his new Ford F-150 Raptor in the Instagram post below.
