Black Panther is finally out, and if the latest Marvel flick's rave reviews aren't enough to get your ass in the cinema, maybe this will: The film features the Lexus LC500 in what could potentially be the year's most impressive car chase sequence.
Yep. If you've seen footage of Chadwick Boseman's King T'Challa chasing bad guys on top of a car in South Korea, it's actually the LC500. Excellent choice if you ask us.
We've gotten up close and personal with the ride in our garage, and we have to say neither photos nor videos do it justice. It really is a ride fit for a king, and in this case, it's the King of Wakanda.
Of course, the unit featured in the film isn't just your standard LC500. By the looks of it, it can be controlled remotely, has holographic camouflage technology, and can withstand a ton of damage. Chances are there's a fair bit of Vibranium in there somewhere as well. Some sources online even suggest that the car is a different vehicle entirely in the guise of a Lexus grand tourer.
Whatever the case, Wakanda must have one hell of an aftermarket industry. Hopefully this isn't the last we'll see of Lexus in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Anyone else hyped to watch it?
