The Goodwood Festival of Speed is an annual event that features an array of cars tackling the 1.16-mile (1.87km) uphill drive to the home of the Earl of March, Charles Gordon-Lennox. Though only select drivers are chosen to drive the cars up the famed driveway, you can now get to experience it since it has been added to Gran Turismo 6\'s extensive number of tracks.

\"I have always been a huge admirer of the Festival of Speed and what Lord March has achieved,\" said Polyphony Digital president and Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi. \"Goodwood represents every type of motoring and motorsport which very much mirrors what we aim to achieve with Gran Turismo, and so it is very special that we have forged this partnership. There will be no better feedback than that provided by the Goodwood fans to tell me if we are heading in the right direction with Gran Turismo 6!\"

With the iconic Goodwood hill climb now recreated in full Gran Turismo detail, video-game players around the world will finally have their chance to \"experience the excitement and honor that has been reserved for only a handful of top drivers.\" Having a huge range of cars to drive on the track is simply an added bonus.

Well, that\'s one more reason for us to get excited about Gran Turismo 6\'s release later this year.
