Last week, Lego unveiled the new Technic McLaren Senna GTR. It looks like a fantastic bit of kit, but as art imitates life, the Lego McLaren already has a rival from Italy.
Yep, this is the first-ever Lego Technic model designed in conjunction with Ferrari. It is, as you’ll probably have noticed, the Lego Technic Ferrari 488 GTE AF Corse #51.
The little endurance racer is made from 1,677 Technic elements, and features working front and rear suspension, a V8 engine with moving pistons, and the full AF Corse tricolore livery. Lovely stuff.
It’ll be available from January 1, 2021, and will cost £169.99 (about P10,900) from Lego’s online store. Think you’ve got enough in you for a ‘24 hours of Mum and Dad’s house?’
