Looking for something classy yet unique to add to your watch collection? If so, then these timepieces might fit the bill. Orient has just revealed its new Sun & Moon pieces, which it describes as “a fusion of the distinctive daily sun and moon motif with a simple, classic design.”
Available in both men’s and women’s versions, the watch shows the transition from day to night through a 24-hour rotating disc. The men’s models have a semi-skeleton look—a design the Japanese watchmaker is known for. The women’s model, meanwhile, features a clean and simple yet elegant design. Both feature slimmed-down cases for better comfort and, if we had to guess, a more classic look.
The men’s models measure 41.5mm in diameter and 13.8mm thick, with a domed crystal in front and automatic in-house movement underneath. Power reserve sits at 40 hours, while accuracy is estimated at +25sec/-15sec per day. Depending on the variant, it’s available with either a stainless-steel bracelet or a white or navy blue leather strap.
As for the ladies’ model, these are powered by a quartz movement with an expected battery life of three years. Accuracy is pegged at +20sec per month. They measure 34.3mm in diamater and 8mm thick. Like the men’s versions, they also come with a choice of stainless-steel or leather straps.
