"Happy wife, happy life." Seriously, we can't count how many times we've heard this from our fellow car guys and motorcycle nuts. Anyone who's ever needed approval from their better half before buying their ride an upgrade or new accessory can relate.
Apparently, even matinee idols aren't exempt from this: Aga Muhlach, who—for those of you born past the '90s—made a name for himself as a show business heartthrob since the early '80s, went on a northern ride with a BMW Motorrad GS 1200 adventure bike earlier this year. And yes, he needed permission from his wife Charlene Gonzalez-Muhlach before setting off.
Aga's Instagram feed is littered with photos from his ride up to Pagudpud, featuring hashtags like #thankyoumyloveforallowingme and #wehavetokeeponthankingourwivesforallowingustorideourbikes. Yeah, we're not entirely sure he knows how hashtags work, but he definitely gets his point across. This is one grateful man.

I'm sure you did! Haha. Lord, thank you for keeping us safe always. Praise and glory is yours. Your plans not ours. You are an amazing God."
In case you didn't know, Pagudpud is at the northernmost tip of Luzon—a good 10-hour ride and more than 500km away from Metro Manila, so you know the dude can ride his ass off.
