MOTORCYCLE BRANDS IN THIS ARTICLE

Those small, utilitarian motorcycles we often see being converted into tricycles here on our roads? Yeah, those things actually make for excellent canvases for custom-bike builders.

Take a look at this Honda CG125 from Portugal-based builder WKND Customs, for example. The owner, Sergio Almeida, took down a 1998 model and rebuilt it into this gorgeous no-frills scrambler bike.

According to an article by Bike EXIF, this is only Almeida’s third-ever build. Impressive? Well, what makes it even more so is that the bike was an absolute wreck when it arrived at the WKND Customs garage. It was apparently delivered dismantled in the trunk of a car.

Almeida had to rework everything from front to back, and he even had to get a secondhand frame since the original one was badly bent out of shape. The build eventually ended up with a longer swingarm, new shocks, and a rebuilt motor. The cherry on top of all these was the simple yet tasteful gray tank with matching grips and seat cowl.

Almeida has a quick stop-motion film of the build on Instagram—check it out below:
