‘Kuya Kim’ Atienza is now a EuroMonkey.
The 53-year-old trivia master and TV host took to Instagram to announce the news, which was made official after he received a monkey ring as a symbol of his membership in the local motorcycle club.
“Tonight was my formal induction to @theeuromonkeys,” Atienza wrote. “An honor to be one of the brothers. Here’s to years of riding safe, solid family and friendship.”
He was welcomed by fellow celebrity riders and Ducati owners Dingdong Dantes, Richard Gutierrez, Drew Arellano, and Dominic Roque.
When he isn’t spewing facts on Matanglawin or presenting weather reports on TV Patrol, Atienza is busy creating content for his YouTube channel, which has already garnered almost 90,000 subscribers as of this writing. His moto-vlogs are usually of him showing off his rare motorcycles, and riding off to places of interest like, most recently, a vintage restoration shop.
In a previous vlog, Kuya Kim revealed that he was a former member of another rider group called Cruiserheads, which includes basketball players Enrico Villanueva and JC Intal, as well as rock stars Ely Buendia and Jay Contreras.
