We’ve always been fond of stalking celebrity riders and their motorcycles on Instagram, and Dingdong Dantes is no exception. The actor is a true rider at heart—to the extent that he even recently started a delivery-service app and employed displaced workers from the entertainment industry.
So, during an interview with his actress wife Marian Rivera, we just had to ask how she feels whenever Dantes goes out riding with his motorcycle club.
“Nakilala ko kasi si Dong na ginagawa niya na yan, so lahat ng mga bagay na ginagawa niya noong binata pa siya, noong hindi niya pa ako asawa, never ko yan pinakialaman,” Rivera responded.
She shared that the difference between then and now is that she reminds him there are now three people waiting for him to come home—herself and their two kids, Zia and Sixto. The actress believes that even though they are already married, they each still need me-time, and her only request is for her husband to let her know ahead of time about his schedule.
Rivera added that before they became husband and wife, their dates were always “naka-motor.” She revealed, too, that she knows how to ride a motorcycle, but stopped riding for her husband.
“Nagda-drive din ako—kahit ano, kahit truck, kahit mga van, nag-da-drive ako,” she said. “Ngayon hindi niya na din ako pinayagan.” Why, you ask? Because Dantes believes his wife drives too fast.
This certainly looks like a happy couple to us.
