Refreshed Street Bob, Fat Boy 114 headline Harley-Davidson’s 2021 lineup

Plus new offerings from the brand’s Custom Vehicle Operations

Ahead of the global reveal of the Pan America 1250 adventure tourer, Harley-Davidson has announced its lineup for 2021—highlighted by a handful of refreshed models, audio enhancements, and styling options.

First, the American manufacturer introduced its lightest softail, the new Street Bob 114. Equipped with the powerful Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine, the Street Bob boasts a mini-ape handlebar and a chopped rear fender.

Harley-Davidson also refreshed the Fat Boy with a brilliant chrome finish on its powertrain and exhaust, front end, rear fender struts, and console. The brand’s Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories arm also offers Milwaukee-Eight Screamin’ Eagle Stage III kits for all softail models.

The company boosted its touring roster, too, with aesthetic and utility upgrades to the Road King Special, the Road Glide Special, and the Street Glide Special.

The Road Glide and Street Glide Specials receive new two-tone paint options: blacked-out or bright chrome. Meanwhile, the Road King and Street Glide Special models now come with a Daymaker LED headlamp. All three get a new engine guard. As far as tech goes, the Boom! Box GTS infotainment system is now compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Lastly, Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) division unveiled the CVO Street Glide, the CVO Road Glide, the CVO Limited, and the CVO Tri Glide. According to the press release, the super-premium line “represent(s) the pinnacle of (the brand’s) style and design.”

Each CVO model, which is available with new paint and styling options, is fitted with a Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine and the RDRS safety package. The Street and Road Glide bikes, in particular, are pioneering the special Harley-Davidson speakers and amplifiers by Rockford Fosgate.

As we enter this new year and a new riding  season, fueling that desire is more important than ever.”
