The beloved scoot now comes in Candy Jazzy Blue, Sports Red, and Vibrant Orange color schemes. Form meets function in the Dio’s LED headlight and position light for night riding, informative meter panel, and secure key shutter with seat opener.
This model runs on a 109cc SOHC air-cooled, four-stroke engine that pumps out 7.89hp at 7,500rpm and 8.91Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. More important, Honda claims it can achieve 58.3km/L when traveling at a constant speed.
Other figures you’ll want to know: The latest-generation Dio has a 104kg curb weight, a 5.3-liter fuel tank, a 765mm seat height, and 158mm of ground clearance. It’s also fitted with a 14.4-liter capacity U-Box, front and retractable rear hooks for extra luggage, not to mention a wider dual seat and step floor. Its steel rims and 10-inch tubeless tires come with a front and rear mechanical drum-brake system.
“As the latest addition to our motorcycle offerings, the all-new Dio is our way of helping everyone face today’s everyday challenges,” said Honda Philippines president Susumu Mitsuishi. “People will surely love it because, with this multipurpose scooter, they can always seize the day.”
The all-new Honda Dio will be available at Honda dealerships nationwide starting this month with a price tag of P49,900.
