Suzuki PH lends 10 Raider J Crossover motorcyles for frontliner use

The company provided some helmets, too

There’s at least one bright spot during the COVID-19 pandemic: Motorists and industry players stepping up to lend frontline healthcare workers a helping hand during the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine period.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen regular commuters loan their bicycles and electric kick scooters to essential workers in need of personal transport. Car companies have also taken the initiative to activate idle fleet units to shuttle healthcare personnel to and from hospitals.

Now, Suzuki Motorcycles Philippines has lent units for frontliners to use.

In a Facebook post released yesterday, Vice President Leni Robredo shared that the Japanese motorbike manufacturer provided 10 Raider J Crossover motorcycle units for frontliners residing in her office’s dormitories to use. Look:

The Raider J Crossover is an underbone model packing a 113cc SOHC engine capable of 9hp and 9Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. No doubt frontliners will be able to put these new units to good use.
