BMW teases next chapter for the X6 M

BMW may not yet be finished with the X6 as it has released a teaser video on YouTube of an X6 M with some of its parts and badges blurred.

Although it's unclear why BMW would blur the X6 M's nose and taillights, the M badge on the rear hatch has quite a few characters appended to it which would denote just what kind of a vehicle it is.

With the German carmaker terminating the X6 ActiveHybrid variant last September, could this be BMW's next move of unveiling a still-fuel-efficient X6 but with an M badge and using a diesel powerplant instead?
