BMW will release a very limited-edition variant of the Z4 in April 2011. It's so limited that besides offering only 12 units of it, the car will only be made available in Japan.
Known as the BMW Z4 Silver-Top, the model has a--you guessed right--titanium silver folding hardtop that matches the side mirror housing and is in contrast to the black sapphire bodywork.
Inside, the Z4 Silver-Top's sports seats are clad in coral red Kansas leather while the center tunnel/center armrest and door trim retain the black leather used in the standard Z4.
The BMW Z4 Silver-Top is based on the Z4 sDrive23i model with its 2.5-liter straight-six engine being paired to a six-speed automatic transmission to put out 201hp and 250Nm of torque.
Do you think a left-hand-drive conversion of the Z4 Silver-Top will make it through one of our export zones?
