The Ford EcoSport’s 1.5-liter engine can now be had in a top-of-the-line EcoSport package.
Ford Philippines has announced that the subcompact crossover is now available in a new 1.5L Titanium AT variant. When the car was launched in August 2018, top-spec Titanium variants only came with the American carmaker’s 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine.
The new variant pairs the 1.5-liter Ti-VCT gasoline engine, which is capable of up to 123hp and 150Nm of torque, with Titanium features and trim: smart keyless entry, a power sunroof, parking-assist features, six airbags, and a Ford Sync 3 infotainment system. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Ford EcoSport 1.5L Titanium AT carries a price tag of P1,098,000—still considerably cheaper than the 1.0-liter EcoBoost Titanium AT, which goes for P1,188,000.
