Excited for the all-new Jimny? Yeah, we get you. The suspense surrounding the Philippine arrival of Suzuki’s iconic little off-roader has been crazy leading up to its launch (which is scheduled for early March, by the way). In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up being one of the largest local debuts of 2019.
Over the past week, the Jimny’s hype train has been rolling along faster than ever, too. Prices and variants are already being leaked by overeager Suzuki dealerships and sales agents (though again, these aren’t yet official), and now, videos and images of Jimny units aboard flatbed trucks—probably stock heading to dealerships—are circulating online.
The main image above is of a white Jimny unit onboard a truck passing underneath the LRT train line along Santa Mesa. It was sent to us by a friend of a colleague who encountered it on the road.
The all-new Jimny’s official Philippine arrival is scheduled for March 8, 2019, so it’s not long now until everything about the vehicle—specs, variants, and availability—is revealed to the public. Until then, we all sit tight. Anyone here planning on buying a unit?
