According to Ford Philippines’ latest announcement, the Territory will arrive with a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine mated to a CVT. No exact figures on the engine were provided, but it’s worth noting that the output of the same engine in other markets is rated at 138hp and 225Nm. There will also be two variants offered locally: Trend and Titanium.
The Territory is set to arrive with a bunch of tech, too. For starters, it gets a 10-inch infotainment display, ventilated leather seats with power adjustment functions, and in-cabin wireless charging. There’s also adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree-view monitor, and active park assist (aka the automatic parking feature) with parallel and perpendicular parking functions. Rounding out the list of amenities is the panoramic moonroof up top.
“With the Ford DNA ingrained in its design, quality, and capability, the all-new Ford Territory is designed and engineered following Ford’s highest global quality standards to deliver an all-in-one SUV package that will deliver great value to Filipino customers looking for a stylish, spacious and technologically-advanced SUV,” says Ford Philippines managing director PK Umashankar.
No word on pricing yet nor on when exactly next month the launch will happen.
