Ford Philippines has just launched the all-new Transit. The commercial vehicle is targeted toward businesses with cargo- and people-hauling needs.
The Transit measures 5,981mm long, 2,474mm wide, and 2,517mm tall. It runs on a 2.2-liter Duratorq diesel mill with 133hp and 385Nm of torque on tap. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a rear-wheel drivetrain.
On-board features include hill-start assist, power-folding side mirrors, daytime running lights, and an emergency escape hatch. Color options are Frozen White, Moondust Silver, and Magnetic Metallic.
“Given its global success in boosting productivity for businesses, we at Ford are excited to bring the all-new Transit with the continued growth of the light commercial bus and van segment (LCBV) in the Philippines,” says PK Umashankar, managing director of Ford Philippines. “The all-new Transit offers unique appeal to businesses and relevant sectors, and is poised to help drive productivity and business growth.”
The official price of the Transit is set at P2,300,000.
