Following the recent reveal of the updated Hyundai Veloster N, the Korean carmaker’s performance brand has now given us a sneak peek at the Hyundai Elantra N Line that’s currently in the works. This performance version of the Elantra is something Hyundai promised when it launched the compact sedan back in March.
Unfortunately, a teaser was all we got from Hyundai. It only unveiled a few images and footage of the camouflaged car without any specs or figures whatsoever.
The only thing we noticed in the said teaser is the sedan’s new twin exhaust pipes out back and the paddle shifters inside, but that’s about it. Hyundai did mention some performance upgrades that include a turbocharged engine. At least for now, we can speculate that this powertrain could be the same 201hp 1.6-liter turbopetrol powering the Elantra GT N Line. In any case, we can expect this new performance sedan will surely pack a punch.
We’ll bring you more on the all-new Elantra N Line as we have it. If you want to know more as soon as Hyundai releases more info, then watch this space. For now, check out the teaser video below, and tell us what you think in the comments.
