Lexus has announced that it has just made some changes to its flagship luxury SUV, the LX570. There are some subtle tweaks across the range, a few updates to the Sport Package, and the introduction of a new LX Inspiration Series model.
Let’s start with the new LX Inspiration Series. It sports blacked-out exterior accents such as the chrome grille, headlights, foglamps, window accents, rear badges, and 21-inch wheels. It’s available with either a ‘Black Onyx’ or an ‘Eminent White Pearl’ finish.
Inside, it boasts a plethora of black semi-aniline leather trim with contrast Rioja Red elements that are exclusive to the model. Lexus says only 500 units of the LX Inspiration Series will be produced and, like the Sport Package, can only be had with a three-row configuration.
Moving on the LX Sport Package, this one has been given new 21-inch forged alloy wheels and a slightly redesigned front fascia highlighted by the sport grille. Its interior features a black headliner with semi-aniline leather trims that’s available in Black, Cabernet, or the new Glazed Caramel.
That Caramel interior option is now also available across the LX570 range, along with the new Nori Green Pearl exterior color palette. In case you’re wondering what that one looks like, you can refer to this Lexus LC Special Edition.
Lexus also confirmed that Amazon Alexa compatibility is now standard for the LX570, adding further to the vehicle’s already impressive entertainment system. This is comprised of the 12.3-inch infotainment system with Remote Touch Interface up front and the dual 11.6-inch screens out back.
No changes under the hood were mentioned, so the LX570 retains the 5.7-liter V8 that generates 383hp and 546Nm of torque. This engine sends power to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
