The Nissan Magnite looks like a nimble, high-riding crossover fit for PH roads

It doesn’t take a genius to tell whether a car viable for Philippine roads or not. If a vehicle is compact enough to zip around tight streets and tall enough to take on less-than-stellar surfaces and mild flooding, it’ll usually fit the bill. By the looks of it, the upcoming Nissan Magnite is one such crossover.

Revealed earlier this year, the Magnite is a small crossover built by Nissan for the Indian market. It’s set to be fully unveiled on October 21, and frankly, we think Nissan Philippines would do well to look into bringing such a vehicle over.

The Japanese car manufacturer recently revealed footage of the Magnite undergoing testing. You can check out the new crossover taking on some gravel roads, inclines, and lightly flooded roads in the video below:

Official details surrounding the vehicle remain scarce outside of product photos released by Nissan back in July. No images of the interior have been revealed, and not engine details or specs have been made known either.
