You may have already read about the price of the new Suzuki XL7. If not, you can check out that story here. But now, we can explore the vehicle in more detail, as Suzuki Philippines has officially revealed its full specifications.

Let’s start with the powertrain: Under its hood is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder K15B engine that generates 103hp at 6,000rpm and 138Nm of torque at 4,400rpm, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle measures in at 4,450mm x 1,775mm x 1,710mm, with a 2,740mm wheelbase and 200mm of ground clearance. This makes it slightly bigger than its stablemate, the Ertiga. It has a minimum turning radius of 5.2 meters and a curb weight of 1,160-1,180kg.

Underneath, there are MacPherson struts and a torsion beam—both with coil springs—up front and at the rear, respectively. Stopping power comes via front ventilated discs and rear drum brakes. The wheels are 16-inch polished alloys wrapped in 195/60 R16 rubber.

Suzuki boasts the XL7 has a spacious cabin fit for seven people. The seats are clad in fabric that match the interior theme. Up front is a leather-wrapped, tilt-adjustable steering wheel. The 10-inch infotainment system comes paired with a six-speaker audio setup. Extra features include a push-start ignition, a reversing camera with rear parking sensors, and two extra 12V accessory sockets in the second and third row. Standard safety tech includes ABS with EBD and hill-start assist.

The XL7 has 153 liters of luggage space with both the second- and third-row seats up. This goes up to 550 liters with only the second row raised, and bumps up to 803 liters when all the seats in the back are folded.

In case you missed it, the XL7 will only have one variant priced at P1,068,000. While there will no longer be an official launch event due to the current COVID-19 spread, the exclusive deals that Suzuki Philippines is offering for the XL7 still stand.
