All-new Maserati Quattroporte launched by PH distributor

Autostrada Motore, the authorized distributor of Maserati cars in the Philippines, today launched the all-new Quattroporte, the Italian carmaker\'s flagship model and its fastest four-door to date.

\"The sixth-generation Quattroporte not only sets high technology standards, but also remains faithful to Maserati\'s long history in luxury sports sedans,\" said Maserati Southeast Asia and Pacific regional director Gaetano Marino. \"Maserati, the pioneer of the luxury sports sedan, and the new Quattroporte continue to be the benchmark for high-quality engineering, supercar performance and limousine comfort.\"

The all-new Quattroporte\'s design is an evolution of its predecessor, particularly the large oval grille, the triple front fender air vents, and the triangular C-pillar. Helping to emphasize the car\'s sporting heritage are its lengthy snout and frameless doors.

Maserati\'s traditional handcrafted detailing continues in the interior that\'s roomier than ever and is available in either a four- or five-seat configuration. In addition, luxurious technical touches can be found inside, like the Maserati Touch Control screen, adjustable pedals, reversing cameras, and the optional 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system to go with the WLAN-based Wi-Fi system that\'s compatible with most modern mobile phones.

An all-new 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo designed by Maserati and assembled by Ferrari powers the Quattroporte. With an output of 523hp and a torque of 650Nm (710Nm with the overboost function), the all-new Quattroporte can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in 4.7 seconds before reaching its top speed of 307kph. Despite the prodigious output, the Quattroporte fuel consumption and emissions have gone down by 20% over the outgoing model.

Putting the power of the V8 twin-turbo down to the rear wheels is an eight-speed automatic transmission that\'s 4kg lighter than the six-speed version of the last model. Assisting the hydraulic gearbox is an auto-adaptive software that has five modes that can be selected using the buttons on the gear lever: Auto Normal, Auto Sport, Manual Normal, Manual Sport, and Increased Control Efficiency.

The all-new Maserati Quattroporte is now available at Autostrada Motore for \"less than P13 million.\"
